What is PetMatch?
PetMatch helps you discover and adopt pets with a familiar swipe — connecting adopters with rescue shelters and owners near you.
Does the app cost anything?
No. PetMatch is completely free to download and use.
How do I adopt a pet?
Swipe right on a pet you like, complete the living-conditions assessment, then message the shelter or owner directly to arrange the adoption.
I run a shelter / own pets — how do I post them?
Sign up with the Shelter role in the app. Once verified, you can publish pet profiles, manage adoption requests and follow your stats.
What are the QR code and NFC chip on the collar for?
You can generate a QR code or write an NFC chip holding your pet's profile. Anyone can scan the QR or tap their phone on the collar to see the details — invaluable if your pet goes missing.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion of your account and all related data on the Delete account page.
